Frog Theme

It’s time for another life cycle theme! We did our butterfly theme earlier this year and now it’s time for frogs. I love these themes because it is so fun to let the kids see the metamorphosis of animals. These activities will focus on the changes a tadpole goes through to become a frog. If you would like, you can purchase your own tadpoles to let your kiddos enjoy the metamorphasis with their own eyes. I have used the set below before and had excelent customer service. The metamorphosis should take 6-8 weeks. You do not need to purchase the live tadpoles to enjoy this week’s themed curriculum. If you don’t purchase the live tadpoles, I highly recomend the Insect Lore Frog Life Cycle Figures to help kids see what the metamorphosis looks like.

NOTE: Some of the activity links go straight to a pin on Pinterest instead of a blog page. Read the description of the pin for the activity instructions. If you are new here, make sure to check out the Themed Curriculum page for more details about how to use this curriculum. Looking for a different theme? Check out all of our themes here.

As you go through this week’s activities make sure tag @kidslearningforlife to share the activities you do! Also, don’t forget to follow us on Facebook or Instagram!
